At The BFS Club, we celebrate the incredible talent of our local musicians and the diverse range of music they bring to our stage. Our monthly Open Mic Nights are a highlight, welcoming performers across all musical genres to share their passion. Alongside these, The Tavy Tars regularly captivate audiences with lively sea shanties and traditional folk tunes. We also love inviting other talented groups and solo artists to perform and enrich our vibrant music scene.
Live at the Club
Join us on the third Wednesday of every month for our vibrant Music Open Mic Night at the club! Open to performers of all ages, styles, and abilities—whether you’re a seasoned guitarist, a budding singer, or trying the mic for the first time—everyone is welcome to take the stage. Bring your instrument, your voice, or just your enthusiasm to listen and cheer on the talent in a warm, supportive atmosphere. It’s the perfect chance to share your music and enjoy a night of live, heartfelt performances!
Come along and enjoy a lively public rehearsal with the Tavy Tars! This welcoming group of singers meets to practice their harmonious sea shanties and folk songs, and everyone is invited to listen, sing along, or simply soak up the atmosphere. A classic open jazz jam session where musicians of all levels are invited to join in and play standards, originals, or whatever swings. It’s informal, welcoming, and full of that special spontaneous energy that only live jazz delivers. Musicians (bring your instrument!) and audience members alike—everyone’s welcome, no experience required to enjoy the music.
