On Friday, 19th June at 7:30 pm, the BFS Club is delighted to host a wonderful evening of maritime heritage with Clive Charlton presenting Tales and Songs of the Sea, accompanied by the ever-popular Tavy Tars.
Clive will take us on a captivating journey through stories and traditional songs of the sea, while the Tavy Tars provide rich vocal harmonies and seafaring spirit to bring the evening to life. Expect shanties, tales of tall ships, wrecks, and the heroes of our coastal past — a perfect night for anyone with salt in their veins.
Golden pasty, crimped and warm, Beef and potato, buttery charm.
Onion whispers in flaky crust, A miner’s joy, a sailor’s trust.
No fork, no plate, just hands and bliss— One perfect bite, a steaming kiss.
Humble king of Cornish shore, with every bite I love thee more.
