Supporting National Charities and Community Projects.

Giving to charity makes you feel good

Supporting charitable causes while building a close-knit community creates an environment that is profoundly meaningful for everyone involved.

The ripple effects extend far beyond the club's membership. The BFS Club's commitment to charity underscores the idea that collective action can bring about significant change. The Club's efforts directly enrich the lives of individuals and organisations dedicated to making a difference.

In recent years, The BFS Club has demonstrably proven its commitment to generosity, raising over £8000 for a diverse array of charitable organisations and support groups. This impressive sum has been distributed to worthy causes such as:

  • Comic Relief: Supporting numerous projects aimed at tackling poverty and injustice around the world and in the UK.
  • Go Beyond (formerly CHICKS): Providing respite breaks to disadvantaged children from across the UK, giving them the chance to experience new adventures and build lasting memories.
  • Devon Air Ambulance: Ensuring vital emergency medical services can reach those in need across the rugged Devon landscape.
  • Bere Ferrers Villagers' Group: Supporting local initiatives and projects that directly benefit the residents of Bere Ferrers.

The BFS Club's dedication highlights the powerful role even a local community group can play in supporting important causes.
By focusing on both charitable giving and community building, The BFS Club offers a compelling model for other organisations looking to create a positive and lasting impact. Our story is a testament to the power of kindness and the incredible things that can be achieved when people come together with a shared desire to make the world a better place.
