They’re the heart of our success
The club’s functionality depends entirely on the dedication of its volunteer committee members, who contribute their time and effort without any financial reward. These individuals handle essential tasks such as organising events, managing finances and ensuring the club meets its objectives. Without their selfless commitment, the club would lack the leadership and workforce needed to operate effectively.
Every year at the AGM, members vote to elect committee members whose two-year tenure is coming to an end. This ensures leadership reflects the preferences of the membership and fosters transparency and accountability.
Not all positions are replaced at once. Experienced members remain alongside newer ones, preserving knowledge, maintaining continuity, and allowing a smooth transition as new members learn their roles.
