Our club is democratically governed by a dedicated committee, elected by the membership itself. This ensures that the club's direction and priorities are always aligned with the needs and desires of those who make it so special – our members. We operate with transparency and a strong commitment to creating a positive and enriching experience for all.
Joining Our Club is Simple
Interested in becoming a part of our community? The process is straightforward:
- Apply: Simply submit your application to join.
- Committee Review: Your application will be reviewed at the next committee meeting.
- Approval: Once approved, you'll officially become a valued member of our club!
- Subscription: Our Club Treasurer will contact you via email to facilitate your membership subscription payment.
Stay in the Loop
Keeping you informed about all the exciting happenings is a priority. While our Entertainment Committee will periodically send updates via email regarding upcoming events, we also utilise multiple channels to ensure you never miss out:
- The Bere Link: Our monthly activities are always featured in The Bere Link, keeping you up-to-date on the latest happenings.
- Facebook Page: Connect with us online through our Facebook page for photos, announcements, and event reminders.

Membership: Terms & Conditions
- Renewal applications are only available to members in previous year.
- Senior memberships are only available to those over state pension age who have been members for a full year.
- One full year membership is required - eg. joined Aug 2022 to Aug 2023 is a year, therefore eligible for Senior rate March 2024
- Completion of this form implies acceptance of the club rules. A copy of the rule book is available on the foyer notice board.
- We will send you an invoice by email that will include various payment options, including online payment.
Please note that email messages from our system to addresses ending @btinternet.com, @btopenworld.com and @talk21.com are rejected. If you have an alternative email account, such as @gmail.com, please use that. Otherwise, we will have to use SMS text messages instead of email. - The Club has limited disabled facilities.
- Your details will be held on a secure database and will not be disclosed to any third party without your express consent.
- The club plans to use the email system to keep members informed with the activities of the club.
