Celebrate St Piran's Day with us on Saturday 5th March from 7:30pm
We can all be Cornish on St Piran's Day
To start the evening and get us in the mood we're serving Traditional Pasties and Cheese & Onion Pasties. After your meal relax and enjoy some traditional Shanties from the Tavy Tars followed by a short talk from Clive Charlton on the origins of St Piran's Day.
Together we sing the Cornish Anthem in the Trelawney Shout at 9pm!
More traditional music will follow from Becca, Tim, Lesley & Rob.
The cost of the evening is reasonably priced at £6 per person.
Come along and Eat, Drink and Sing out for Cornwall!
At a suitable point during the evening there will be an opportunity to make a donation towards The Weir Quay Youth Sailing Event planned for June to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee. Your donation will go towards the costs of giving groups of young people from the Bere Peninsula the opportunity to experience a day out aboard the restored Tamar Sailing Barge, Lynher.
And shall Trelawny live?
Or shall Trelawny die?
Here’s twenty thousand Cornish men
Will know the reason why!
