The Club is looking forward to welcoming back our members and their guests from Friday 16th April.
Hospitality venues such as pubs and restaurants may open for outdoor service only – there is no curfew or requirement for a substantial meal, but table service and the Rule of Six remain in place.
How many people will you be able to sit with?
From April 16th, at the Club, the Rule of Six is set to return as part of the second stage of the government's four-step roadmap to leaving lockdown.
This will allow up to six people, or two households, to meet outdoors in spaces such as gardens, outdoor seating spaces at cafes and restaurants, beer gardens and patios and even some hospitality areas at venues like theme parks and zoos, which are also due to reopen at this time.
Which areas are off-limits?
Club members will be able to enter the club foyer only to gain access to the toilets.
Customers will have to order and pay for their drinks through the online app, however, staff will be able to take orders and payment at the table if customers can't access it (or simply don't want to download it).
The club garden and car park is set to reopen on Friday, April 16, and will initially be open from 6pm to 9pm, Saturday 17th 10:30am to 12pm and on Sunday 18th lunchtime from 12pm to 3pm.
The Club car park will be closed to all vehicles during the weekend 16-18 April 2021.
Social distancing and other safety measures
According to the latest government guidance, any business set to reopen will still have to abide by social distancing rules, so you may find that tables are spaced out, or even that capacity is reduced because of this.
Hand sanitising stations will be in place and masks will need to be worn when you're not sat down to eat or drink.
There will be a gazebo erected in the car park together with tables & chairs, hand sanitiser stations will also be available.
We will have to adapt to members' requirements at short notice and some additional restrictions on closing times may be needed.
The club will NOT be operating a booking system however, test and trace will be in operation.
